Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed got married over the weekend. And the minute we saw those wedding pictures, we were all saying one thing – we need to know more about that dress!

Turns out, the Twilight beauty's mermaid-style lace wedding gown that we were all drooling over came courtesy of Claire Pettibone's shop in LA, where Nikki first discovered her Ecru beaded 'Elizabeth' frock.

While you can't tell from the photos, the gorgeous ivory dress featured a plunging low back and illusion lace neckline. But the actress wanted to put her own stamp on it, making sure to have it modified for her big day.

The bride added sheer lace sleeves and a modified boat neck to create the wedding dress of her dreams, and we really can't fault her taste. Gorgeous!

The hotter than hot couple successfully kept their wedding plans under wraps and surprised everyone when they tied the knot in secret over the weekend.

26-year-old Nikki looked drop-dead-gorgeous in her white lace wedding dress, which boasted long sleeves and a flared fishtail skirt, and wore her tumbling brunette locks in a half-up half-down bridal 'do.

Vampire Diaries star Ian matched his bride in a crisp white suit and sky blue tie, and couldn't have looked more smitten with his new wife as he carrid her over a grassy plain after the ceremony. What a gent!

Another shot shows Ian taking a photo of his gorgeous bride, whilst another shows the couple clutching her bouquet as the two cosy up for photos. Aww.

We couldn't be happier for the Hollywood couple – or more impressed that they kept their big day secret for so long – and it seems they really are a match made in heaven.

Kat Graham, Ian's Vampire Diaries co-star, recently said of the newlyweds: 'I haven't met two people that were more of soul mates than those guys. They are so absolutely amazing. Everyone loves them, and I really can't imagine him with anyone else.'

The groom also took to Twitter to gush about the perfect day, which is thought to have taken place in his hometown in Louisiana, writing: 'Most beautiful morning ever...'
