Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry

These two songstresses are rumored to have used their music, high-profile magazine interviews and social media to bash one another in 2014. Their supposed feud started after Taylor Swift hinted that "Bad Blood," a single from her album “1989,” was based on her tumultuous relationship with “Roar” singer Katy Perry.

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift told Rolling Stone in September without mentioning Perry by name. "She would come up to me at awards show and say something and walk away, and I would be like, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?”

Swift went on in the piece to accuse the unnamed individual of making a business foul. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” Swift said. “She hired a bunch of people out from under me. ... So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Despite not being explicitly named in the interview, Perry retaliated by posting this telling tweet: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” she said, a reference to the 2004 comedy “Mean Girls.”

Solange vs. Jay Z

Who didn’t hear about Jay Z and Solange Knowles’ elevator brawl? In what was possibly the most violent celebrity fight of the year, Solange kicked and swung at her sister Beyoncé's husband in May in an elevator at the Standard Hotel in New York after the Met Gala. A video of the incident was published byTMZ. In reports, speculation on the cause of the fight ranged from cheating to substance abuse rumors, but no clear reason was ever revealed. While it appears both parties have since settled their issues — Jay Z and Beyoncé attended Solange’s wedding in November — it’s hard to forget that family feud.
